Great interview as always. 5 stars from me.

Shame on LEN!

As someone pointed out, if the T shirt had said "Free Tibet", he'd have gotten nothing, instead they threw everything that they could at him. The severity of the punishment was what was really astonishing -- they must have been afraid that Cavic was going to beat one of "theirs".

Great shame for LEN and Eric Van Heijningen himself.I see whole thing as amateurs imployed in LEN.

Guys with a "you know" comment are missing the point. Cavic is a great swimmer. LEN should be ashamed for disqualifying him from the European Championship after setting a new record on 50m. After all, Kosovo IS Serbia!
Littleswimmer posted March 10 at 5:05pm.
Great interview!! Don't care about "You know", the guy know how to race and have fun, and that's what's matter! Great lesson how to mental deal with big races.

I am not sure how everyone here was able to remember the interview, all I saw was the old guy in the background doing the striptease and laying out all his clothing all while talking on the phone! Very entertaining but I am sure not what you intended. . . Great job on the website I am enjoying all the videos.

I think his intuition and what he calls arrogance probably helped him to stay sharp and not overtrain.

Yeah seriously why are you being so negative? You should be happy that this site even exists
Tam posted February 5 at 11:06am.
Please don't turn this site into collegeswimming.com where everyone is a smart a--. You can learn from anyone.Negativity is such a downer.

ShawmanGP,
this interview explains in depth why an athlete does something particular. Mike's approach to the sport gives other swimmers a peak into the mind of a true sprinter. Maybe you should give it a chance for more than a minute, because there are some great pieces of info...
ShawmanGP posted February 5 at 7:32am.
I lost interest in this video after about a minute. I think the videos that explain why a team or athlete does something particular is better. I know this is just to get people to learn him as a person and athlete, but it was boring. Stuff like the Arizona, Virginia Tech, etc. videos are great.

You know....I think, you know, he says you know, about you know, 1,000 times you know.
Mlowe posted February 5 at 1:00am.
can someone count how many times he says "you know.."

well it is a good idea to keep interesting new content to keep viewers coming! Kinda like telling someone good news before you tell them the bad news and following them up with more good news! haha

Its a treat to come home at night to a new video. There should be no complaints whatsoever about this innovative and awesome site.
Vg posted February 4 at 6:36pm.
why don't you put up more of the videos you have? what're you saving them for?

Milorad "Mike" Cavic

Race You to The Ball

February 4, 2008
Mike Cavic was finding ways to race from a very young age. He confirms the notion that swimmers can be some frustrating types to train with, but guys like Mike can teach everyone a lot about racing. I know it's a little lengthy but to be honest I could listen to this one over and over again. I'll save the rest of the interview for a rainy day...
