Approaching 40 years of coaching, Frank Busch is in his 19th season at the University of Arizona.
His teams are coming off 2nd and 3rd place finishes at the NCAA Championships, and the men currently have a streak of 9 top ten finishes.
His awards include NCAA Division 1 coach of the year, 2 Pac-10 coach of the year, and USA Swimming's Coach of the Year in 1998.
why do so many people ask if its meters!!??? Think about it, down and back is a 100 and Gill does a 150 and goes three lenghts...that should tell anyone who knows anything about swimming that its long course meters. Hey pop quiz...when they just go down the pool how far is it!?

the 2fly was phelps biggest lock when no one else had ever been under 1:54.5 i believe.....stovall was seeded for trials with a 1:56.0 or somewhere around there i think and by the end of the meet had a personal best of 1:53.

I always wanted Davis to beat Phelps but Gil beating phelps would be even cooler (how big an upset would that be?) The way Gil dropped time at trials i wouldnt be completley surprised though.
